When we met with competing contractors in November ‘08 to discuss remodeling of the cottage, I think we knew before seeing our bid that you were the right contractors for us. The competition walked through the house and focused on how to get things done as cheaply as possible. You walked around the house, stood at water’s edge and considered the view and then reviewed the house itself. Each change we proposed for the home was measured against how the view would be affected, how drainage to the lake would be affected, how the house and grounds would stand the test of time…

I was once told that in another community Steve was know as Honest Abe. In our experience, he certainly lives up to that name. Construction projects have a way of taking on a life of their own, particularly complex renovation or highly customized projects and ours were no exception. With an ever moving target, Steve always did his level best to keep us on course and the budget under control without cutting corners or compromising quality. We are very please with both the cabins and the shop building. I also found Steve very enjoyable to work with and would highly recommend him for any project.
